Themed taster session
Whilst you’ll be joining online, we want you to be able to get a taste of what it is like to be a Psychology student! So, we’ll be hosting a themed taster for you to experience.
This taster’s theme is: Filmmaking through the lens of the mind.
What makes a film a mesmerizing work of art? In her talk, Dr. Kathryn Friedlander turns the spotlight on the film-industry, zooming in on the features which elevate it to a creative art-form, such as cinematography, mental storyboarding, and conceptual expansion. We’ll also take a look at why some films win Oscars, while others win a Golden Raspberry; and explore the personalities of those who develop and communicate the creative story.
